Christina Dvinge
My name is Christina Dvinge. I am a 25-year-old Danish girl. I am currently employed as a goodwill ambassador for the City of Odense at the Expo 2010, Shanghai. I hold a Bachelor´s Degree in Chinese Studies from the University of Copenhagen.
My first experience with China was in 2005, when I first visited the country as a voluntary teacher.
This experience initially caught my interest for the Chinese culture. I have visited China several
times since then; as an exchange student, as a tourist and as a tour guide.
Being here for the Expo gives me a chance to view China in an international context. Dealing with
the worldwide problem of developing sustainable solutions to protect our environment is a
common interest for both national and international partners of the Expo. However this is also a
topic to be considered by the everyday visitor at the Expo.
As a representative of the Danish Bicycle Culture at the Expo I am able to promote and exchange ideas about sustainable urban planning with all kinds of people. I very much enjoy this opportunity to raise awareness of an important topic, and acquire new knowledge myself.

Jacob Jørgensen
My name is Jacob and I am from Aarhus, Denmark. I was born and raised in Egaa, a suburb of Aarhus, some 27 years ago.
After my 10 years in primary school, I went to Aarhus Business College in Vejlby Risskov. I really enjoyed my time at ABC, and all the experiences the 3 years I spent there brought me. I did a year of working for an import company of electronic devices afterwards. I then studied a year at Aarhus School of Business before transferring to Aarhus University to study Chinese.
After a year of studying I went to Nanjing to study for a semester in 2008, but I found myself enjoying the life in China, so I stayed there for 10 months. After doing exams in Denmark, I did and internship at the Danish Innovation Center in Shanghai. In that position I gained a lot of knowledge on how you do business in China. After ending my internship, I went back to Denmark, but I wanted to come back to China. I therefore applied for a job at the Odense Pavillon at the Expo 2010 in Shanghai. This is one the biggest events ever to be hosted, and for me to be a part of that is something I will cherish for a long time. And at the same time being able to promote a strong message as Odense city is sending out to the rest of the world is very fortunate.
I hope to meet as many interesting people as possible during the Expo period.

Signe Jungersted
My China experience involves both English teaching, Mandarin studying and interning with the European Commission Delegation in Beijing. And so, ever since I realized the World EXPO would be held in Shanghai 2010, I have hoped to be able to take part in it. Before leaving for Shanghai I handed in my Master’s thesis on Chinese foreign policy, having specialised in China’s foreign relations throughout my graduate studies. And so, as a recent graduate of political science I see representing Odense as an excellent opportunity not only to improve my Mandarin skills, but also to witness a world event first hand and better understand how such an event affects and is affected by its local setting.
